EMPOWERMENT AND SUPPORT OF WIDOWS OF EX-SERVICE MEN
Widows of fallen heroes, as well as wife of aged and disabled ex-servicemen are economically empowered with skills, equipments and funds, to start micro-scale businesses to help alleviate their sufferings and improve their family wellbeing.
TRAINING & EMPLOYMENT OF CHILDREN OF EX-SERVICE MEN
The Corps of Commissionaires of the Nigerian Legion is an auxiliary arm and a security apparatus of the Nigerian Legion. Members of the Corps are trained and deployed for various security purposes to curb and prevent crime; and to provide employment.
WELFARE SUPPORT OF AGED & DISABLED EX-SERVICE MEN
We ensure that proper attention is given to the welfare of all ex-service men and their dependants. Those who require special treatment, particularly the disabled, sick, aged and needy are given top priority. ex-servicemen are also assisted to secure employment.
REMEMBERANCE DAY TO CELEBRATE OUR FALLEN HEROES
Armed forces remembrance day is celebrated to perpetuate the memory of the fallen members of the armed forces. The event keeps the memories of the service, valour and sacrifice of the fallen heroes. Members who die are also given befitting burial.
